What is Neuro Muscle Works?
A Global Full-Body Perspective to addressing Dysfunction and Pain
“Health is not merely a condition of being symptom-free.
It is a state of abundant energy and mental/emotional well-being”
- Alex Guerrero
Inside Out
vs Outside In
In most Acute and Chronic pains, you will find that modern treatments solely work from the outside in. In other-words, we are treating the “symptom” of pain rather than addressing and preventing the repetitive cause.
The Neuromuscle Works Perspective
We understand that the Human Body works based on Design and not by Default. With a Full Body Hands on Assessment, we can create a Roadmap to addressing discomfort and dysfunction. This Assessment is preformed using Manual Muscle Testing focused on isolating and testing individual muscles coresponding to the site of pain and discomfort.
The Core of NeuroMuscle Works
Manual Therapy is the holistic and foundational tool in our approach to alleviating symptoms and limitations.
This involves hands-on techniques such as massage, stretching, and mobilization of soft tissues and joints. Our body is able to auto-heal itself more efficiently when we increase circulation and provide the nutrients to the damaged cells.
Manual Therapy can also stimulate the release of endorphins, which are natural painkillers that help to reduce pain and promote a sense of well-being.
The NeuroMuscle Works Timeline
Neurological Inhibition is the forefront that eventually leads to a reoccurring and nagging dysfunction. This is where we can create the Roadmap to addressing the Discomfort and Dysfunction that most people submit to. If we can find Neurological Inhibition, we will find some degree of Structural Dysfunction. Hence, Structural Dysfunction can lead to Soft Tissue Danger and/or evantually Damage. All this resulting to a pain or dysfunction in which we most likely will simply blame on factors such as age or incorrect movement.
“Assuming the problem is where your pain is can pull you into the chronic pain quicksand.
The site of pain is often where a problem ended up, not where it started.”
— Dr. Perry Nickleston
